That's right, Spirit of Adventure Travel is here and excited to help you with all your Disney travel needs as your Disney travel agent in Overland Park! I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about starting this venture on my own, but I'm relying on faith, trust and pixie dust to get me through these early start-up days. I'm a perfect combination of passionate and professional and I believe that will help make me successful as your Disney travel agent in Overland Park. When friends tell me they are going to Walt Disney World® Resort, I can hardly contain my excitement for them. After giving the 4th person advice on their upcoming Disney vacation in the last year, I thought, why not do this for real? I'm already sought out for Disney travel wisdom, I personally take a Disney vacation at least once a year, and am pretty much known as a Disney fanatic among friends and family.
My love for Minnie Mouse and all things Disney started before age 2. There is an old home video of me trying to do a "presentation" for the camera like my older sisters had just done, but the only word I repeat over and over is "Minnie." My first trip to Walt Disney World® Resort was at age 2 1/2 and you can see the picture of me hugging Minnie Mouse from that trip on our homepage.
Fast forward to 2007 and I completed the Disney College Program for a semester internship in college. I worked at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Citricos and loved every minute of it. My roommates and I would go to the parks weekly, if not daily. Even just to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith once before going in for an afternoon shift. Since the Disney College Program I've taken a Disney vacation annually (at least!) and am so exited to now be a Disney travel agent in Overland Park!
My husband is supportive of my Disney devotion and we've already begun brainwashing—I mean introducing — our 8 month old son, Finnegan to Disney. His nursery is Dumbo themed, he has many Disney outfits and toys, and took his first Disney vacation at the age of 5 months. This provided me with the most incredible experience seeing Walt Disney World® Resort through new eyes, as a mother. He is my new adventure.
